The success of the AYSO program depends on volunteers like you.
Referees play an important role in ensuring that games are FAIR, SAFE, and FUN for our keiki.
In addition, your increased knowledge of the game can help you educate parents, players, and coaches.
PLEASE email our Referee Coordinator Joseph Moseley at [email protected] with any questions about becoming a referee. In addition, please include your town, team, and age division.
STEPS TO BECOME A REFEREE:
1)Complete Volunteer registration choose "Referee"
2) Complete the background check for volunteers
3) Login to AYSOU and Complete Safe Haven, Concussion Awareness training, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest training and upload your
certificates to your account. (Directions for logging in to AYSOU in "AYSOU Instructions" tab)
4) Complete the on-line Regional Referee Training Course
(Click AYSOU tab on AYSO403.org website, click "On-Line Courses" on red menu bar. They are in the "Refereeing Courses")
5) Attend the in-person training, TBA

You will need your AYSO ID number to access the courses/manuals and you must have registered in current membership year or the previous membership year.
